Water-Based Self-Fixing Colours
SECTION LACQUER® are water-based polymer solutions and emulsions destined for the finishing of cutting edges of leather for bags, belts, straps, uppers and saddlery in general. Each of them differs according to their degree of brightness, viscosity and covering power, as per the customers’ requests.
They can be applied manually by hand or by machine and the matt versions dry more quickly. The SECTION LACQUER® achieve the ideal degree of self-fixation 48 hours after application with excellent adhesion, rub fastness and flex resistance. Optimal performance can be obtained by heating the finished edges, within determined limits, which will help improve crosslinking of the product and general fastnesses.
Edges finished with SECTION LACQUER® are smooth and uniform, characteristic of the rounded high quality Italian finished article. FENICE has laboratories available with extremely qualified personnel for any colour matching, application tests and physical tests, such as flex resistance, rub resistance and adhesion and light fastness. They are non-flammable and are manufactured with non-toxic raw materials..
