Upcoming trends for Spring/Summer 2016

FENICE Spa exclusively presents the most significant trends for the Springs / Summer 2016 season, suggested by the trendbook made by EFD Trend Research Center of Florence.
Four strands that distinguish the most important trends for fashion and leather goods industry for next year:
Archeozone, Metropolis, Wunderkammer and Graphic-box, between colors and prints, from the past to the avant-garde.

Archeozone
Direction of the classic matrix, with hints about the ancient Greece’s world,n specific attention to the sense of proportions between marbles and stones, from whites and brown shades to bronze, givind a moder suit to the archaic world.

Metropolis
Inspiration taken from the spread of the big metropolis: strictness and aggressive mood coming from that urban world, contemporary feeling of materials. Not only laminated surfaces, but also preciousness linked to technology.

Wunderkammer
Re-proposal of the 19th Century room of wonders, box of curiosity and strange things: love for the marquetry and Easy, especially Japan, from botanic to ivory, automatons and  2D paintings.

GraphicBox
No more refinement but tendency to the contemporary and to the graphic world. Sharp black&whites, use of codes and symbols common to many generations and ethnic groups, opaque and paper surfaces, swatches and collages, dramatic red and Pop Art.
